Glistening Day

What a gorgeous autumn morning! The Wordsworth poem of yesterday definitely applies today, especially in the wake of what was a rather wild wind storm last night. New rivulets and shapes took form on the beach and the rocks were glazed with rain and ocean spray as I went out this morning.

And the light! It made everything glisten. The sun provided a comfortable warmth, one that I could sit and bask in all day - save for the midges which soon found me!

I managed to have a bit of time on the rocks though, watching the waves surge against the sandstone as the tide rolled in, and I drew a quick small sketch.

Again, nothing exceptional, but it reminds me of that moment in time and being fully present in it.
